I need to flashing it coz my K790 says "operation failed" when i'm open application and games ( Java ),

i'm get K790_R1JG001_FS_APAC_CID52.DVT & K790_R1JG001_MAIN_GENERIC_CID52.DVT from here
( i wonder what is *.DVT file format is true for main & file system needs to flashing my K790 )

anyone please help me where to get these files for free,
i can't download from here either :(

.DVT is not the right file format for main & FS u need .BIN try to rename them and see what happens if not u have to download them from topsony.:):D

[par999]: Please Tell Us Which Phone Do You Have And Which Firmware. However A Main File Is Mostly GENERIC And A FS File Depends On Your Location (Entirely Your Choice) Like EUROPE_2.

[asas]: In Your Post, You Said That Your MAIN Was w880_red_cid52_r3b021_erom-fota_2006-10-12_08.bin. This Is NOT Your MAIN. This Is Your EROM. Your Main Would Be Like W880_R8BA024_MAIN_xxxxxx...xx_RED52. Regarding Your Buttons Query Let Me Tell You That After You Debrand Your Phone, The Left Key Will Be "Operator" While Right One Will Be "Shortcut Key". It The Way Non-Branded Phones Work.

Xerophie: I Would Like To Add A Little With What Semen_Alex Said. *.dvt Are Encypted Files Used By Davinci-Flasher. XS++ Requires Non-Encrypted Files (*.mbn And *.fbn). Renaming Them Wont Solve The Problem. You May Grab It From Download Area After Fulfilling The Download Requirements.

Is there a guide for flashing ***smartphones*** with XS++ somewhere?!?!

Flashing smartphones is quite different from flashing normal phones, but I cannot find any info on what to do with XS++ and my P900i firmware files.

This Question Has Been Raised Before In This Thread. Making It Clear FSX Cant Download Files From Phone. The Upload Button Is To Upload A File To Phone. If You Need To Donwload Files From Phone, Use FAR. (Heres A Guide For FAR).

anybody online in yahoo? i need help. i modified my w700i and while connecting to XS++ it was taking long time so i unplugged it. now it wont connect. it says "Did not receive 0x5a. Continuing" but my phone works fine, except that every game is seen 2 times in games folder

I think you should add further explanation to the customization section. I personally was confused and couldn't figure out what to do until I read a tutorial on se-nse which filled in the gaps. Perhaps something like this:

If your phone is not supported or the specific CDA you need isn't supported, you will need to take different steps to customize your phone.

Instead of clicking the customize box, start FSX instead. Your custpack file structure on your computer will be someting like this \\tpa\preset\custom. It is in this custom folder that the customization files exist. Start FSX, wait for filestructure to upload, then navigate the phone's file structure to the custom folder. Most likely there will be no files there if you haven't customized the phone yet. Select the files from you custpack located in \\tpa\preset\custom and drag them to the XS++ FSX window. The files will now be uploaded. After they have been uploaded to your phone, shutdown FSX via the "Shutdown" button and disconnect your phone. You phone should now be customized and no more "configuration error"
