i only backup gdfs for now, coz i'm still afraid flashing my phone.
i wanna make it clear..
so my phone: red52?
this phone is not a branded one, i can assure u that..
n what about main and fs?
so i have to use the generic?
i found this in another website:
K800_R8BF003_MAIN_GENERIC_WI_RED52.mbn
K800_R8BF003_FS_C_ASIA_RED52.fbn

is it the correct main and fs?

and also, i'm confusing with the cda..
can someone here gimme a deeper explanation?
i can't find mine in K800 CDA List page in this website..

pls, sorry for my simple question (perhaps)..
i just want to flash it the right way..

lakifaki: The Problem You Specified Is Not Only Your Problem. Its A Problem With Most SE Phones. I'll Prefer That You Use SEUS To Upgrade R1KG001 Although Latest On TopSony Is R6BC002. Although You Might Be Knowing It But SEUS Is Free.

You Have To Use The Method In Tutorial Under Uploading Files Via FSX. Copy All The Contents In The File To /tpa/preset/custom

Dear Mohdumer,

I updated my P1i to R6F41 (via SE update service). From then on, I could not make call in areas having weak network signal. I wish to flash P1i back to R6E30. I have downloaded R6E30 firmware of Russia (I have no choice since I have no privilege to download the desired firmware from this Topsony site). I unzipped and got many files:

How to backup my current firmware ???
Could you guide me how to backup my current firmware (just in case of fail with new firmware then I could flash it back as your guide at item *) since when I backup my GDFS I got one file .BIN (35 KB). I do think this file is just GDFS but not including firmware.

Starting With Your Last Question, Your GDFS Doesnt Contains Firmware. However Your Firmware Is A Set Of Main+FS. Check The Files You Have For A *.mbn File Which Will Be Your Main And Then A *.fbn File Which Will Be Your FS (Depending Upon Your Region). Then You Need A Custom Pack Which Depend Upon Your FS. Match A Custompack With Your FS Using This Link. Thats All. Follow The GUIDE For Rest.
