Question about upgrading the firmware on W810i

Hi, I was a given an W810i and I wanted to update the firmware on it to the latest whilst retaining the brand. I initially used SEUS to carry out the upgrade but surprisingly it tells me there's no new software for my phone which was strange. After digging around and reading a few tutorials, I still can't work out whether the FS file is required for a successful upgrade? Can anyone tell me if the update require the two or just the Main firmware file? Thanks

Will flashing with these 3 files keep the O2 network brand on my phone?

Is there any particular reason why you picked a Generic custom pack instead of a network branded one and chose R4ED001_FS_EUROPE_2 instead of R4EA031_FS_EUROPE_2_RED49 to match the MAIN firmware version?

And I read somewhere bruteforce needed to customise the phone with a CID 49, is that the case? What app would you recommend to flash the phone with?

This "bruteforce" is for old version on XS, you must use last version on XS++v3.1
Or Setool.

And if I want to use another custom pack I just flash the FS and leave the main alone, correct?

If you want to keep the brand you should use a branded MAIN, not a "generic" one. Tell us what is your brand and we'll tell you if there's an update(or not) for your firmware.
