k750 flash mode problem

hi to all. friend gave me k750 to unlock it and turn into w800. since ive done it like 10 times already i wouldnt thought this will be a problem. i turn off the phone, remove battery, hold c and connect to pc with dcu-60 and i see popus saying flash device new hardware blabla so i select find driver, and it installs, i see message saying that installation didnt go well. in the meantime phone turned on. also, every time i connect it i see popus with new hardware and its active like 3-4 seconds then phone turns on. actually phone turns on every time but i dont see that popup every time. installed drivers manually and same thing.

is this a phone itself or im doing sth wrong (but i doubt it)?

Try to connect the cable in different USB port or reset your computer. Sometimes that happens to me also (I have W800 which is very similar to K750), when I don't have choice, I download SEUS (Sony Ericsson Update Service) and install it. I follow the steps and when it says that I have the newest firmware or it asks me would I update it, I just choose No and then connect it to XS++/SETool/Far. If he asks me that kind of questions, that means that the SEUS installed USB flash drivers. :)
