well first of all why not flash to the latest R8 version of the w580 firmware?

look here for a generic Main and a FS and corresponds to the languages in your phone and use the same customization as your FS.

Second, just flashing to a generic FW wont unclock your phone, you need to patch it with the Sp-Lock patch.

The reason I was looking at the ones I was looking at is because I saw on here that they would fix the bug where the lights change back to green every time I use the walkman function. Will the R8 firmware fix that as well? And as I said, I am new to this. What do I do with that code you posted?

Ok, so is R8BA024 the one I want, or is R6BC002 the one I want? And is the Custom Pack I linked to in the original post the one I want(I noticed it says "R8A" in the title so I don't know)?
