Ok, hello everyone, I'm fairly new to flashing but I have done lot of reading. Reading that has led me to unlock a W810i. Now I'm having a problem unlocking a K800i from the Orange network. My progress is nearly complete. I have followed the Tutorials and have gone straight to the actual Patching with Simox's Sim-Unlock Patch but the thing is, everytime I click 'Write SCRIPT' it says 'Trying to launch embedded bootloader' and stops. Funny enough, the phone itself then comes straight out of flash mode then enters into file transfer mode, almost immediately. I have done the tutorial over and over and over again but always end up stuck at that step. Yes, I have applied the QA patch though sometimes I wonder if I did it correctly as during the patching it says "Some values differ, continue?" and I click YES. So, can anyone tell me what I am doing incorrectly? Your help will be greatly appreciated.
PS. Phone Info:
Model: K800i
FW: R8BF003_MAIN_GENERIC_WI
CID: 52
the phone shpuld be off at all times if u are useing se tool light and did u make the patch from the same main file
Yes, I know the phone should be off at all times, and yes, I did apply the patch with the same MAIN file.
Oh, no worries. I fixed the problem myself. It is now unlocked.

Hello...
So, here is my problem. I'm trying to unlock k510i, but after patching, phone won't turn on any more. Only solution for that is to flash it again, which I did, several times (yes, I tried applying patch, 4 to 5 times). While flashing, phone is off all the time, battery in and out as needed, patch is from the same main file, in program I selected k510...
CID is 49 and firmware R4EA031.
Any suggestions?
well, it seems it always takes about 5 min's more than u expect....:p
it's that murphy dude who handles these sort of things....:D
ty ne-way ...
