This is a different operation that i tried to reset the security code but this doesnt work either why is it saying header failed?

this is the message i get when i try to do a GDFS backup, i would really like to know wats causing this im really a motorola person so i have never flashed a SE before..I have read the guides but Se tools lite does not seem to work with vista
i bet W890 is A2 platform and u need to use A2 uploader to do so

Luckily the phone still powers on im getting afraid that the phone might soon not work with another failed attempt
Ahh finally flashed it successfully!
The problem i found was that the data cable connection was not stable so i had to put the phone in a stable place...
I flashed both FS and Main but the problem i still have is that the security code was not reset so i still cant access the phone.
Is the security code stored in the GDFS? if yes do u know any software that i can use to read the code as i dont want to mess with the GDFS.
Xs+++ doesnt work it doesnt read anything for my phone
Please suggestions will be greatly apprecciated

but could you run through the patch process, i may be doing some thing wrong but when i load patch half the writing in the file info appears corrupt and the execute patch button is dead.
please help as i would like to patch phone cos ive had a go at everything else:D

My phone model is W550 and recently got WSOD. When i plug in my phone to XS++, it says that my phone CID is 49 brown. How do i change it to RED so i can flash it.
Or... is there another way to save my phone?

I have a major problem with my k800... I have downloaded (K800_R8BA024_MAIN_GENERIC_WI_RED52 and K800_R8BA024_FS_EUROPE_4_RED52) and started using XS++ but the result was a dead phone... I have charged the battery, I think I have downloaded the right files for my phone but something went wrong

that means you don't have the rest file for your phone, to create you need the MAIN file. you will find make_rest folder inside setool folder, drag and drop the MAIN file over the ssw2rest.exe, now goto c:documents&settings\user, you'll find a file like RXXXXXX_CXCXXX cut and paste this file to rest folder inside setool and you are doneQuote:
