Flash K800 CID53 with K810 software CID53 (for begginers)

First if you haven't installed SEMC USB flash driver read here: USB Flash Driver Installation - Guide - Top Sony Forums

***You must open Service menu and see what is your custpack.
In stand by mode unlock keyboard and click:

> * < < * < *

Service info > Software info > and see:

Customization
CDA....
cxc
MEDITERR ( or EUROPE_4 or something else ).

Etc. if you have EUROPE_2, S_ASIA_LEVAN, S_E_EUROPE:

1. Back up your SMS, contacts, notes ... with [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
Click F2, then Search device and if cann't find phone install USB drivers:
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

2. Download: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] (click Extract Here)

3. Click F11

4. Click db2020, DCU-60, 921600 then click [jump down into a large rabbit hole]

5. Click twice on oflash

6. Download and extract K810_R8BA024_MAIN_GENERIC_SM_RED53.rar

Once completed flash on Main do not disconnect phone!

7. Download File System (FS) from: Downloads - R8BA024_RED53 - Top Sony Forums (To me I need this file: K810_R8BA024_FS_MEDITERR_RED53.rar) See the example at the beginning of the post!

After flash on File System click twice on ".."

-> click yes.

Discconect USB cable, remove the battery and put it back into the phone, but do NOT turn on!

8. Download your Custpack from: Downloads - k810custpack - Top Sony Forums (To me I need this file:HB1-06_Gen_CDA102568_4_R8A_GENERIC_MEDITERR ) See the example at the beginning of the post!

9. Again connect to FAR and Click F11

10. Click db2020, DCU-60, 921600 then click [jump down into a large rabbit hole]

11. click twice on ofs

12. Open tpa/preset/custom ( On the right unzip Custpack and open tpa/preset/custom)

After customize on File System click twice on ".."

-> click yes.

Now can turn on phone and see on screen Please wait !!!

13. Again connect to FAR and Click F11

14.Click db2020, DCU-60, 921600 then click [jump down into a large rabbit hole]

15. click twice on ofs

16. Download: K800_lighteffects.rar
Open tpa/preset/system/lighteffect/systemeffects

After K800 lighteffects click twice on ".."

-> click yes.

Now phone work fine.

but my far just can't copy any file between phone and computer...

Yes, you can copy files only from PC to phone, from phone to PC - cann't !

You must flash only custom files to your phone ( you forgot to finalize your phone ).

Firmware has two parts:
1. FS: It contains languages, images, sounds, animations, settings, etc. Anything that isn't pure software.
2. Main: It contains the software.

Note: MAIN and FS HAVE to be the same software version

Customization has to be same region as FS, in this case
FS = EU5 (EUROPE_5)
Customization =CDA102338/50 ( EUROPE_5 Sunrise Switzerland)

And I cann't see hutch custom file, but can use other FS and Custom file:

HUTCH_1: English - Danish - German - Italian - Swedish

EUROPE_3: English - Danish - Dutch - French - German
EUROPE_4: English - Finnish - Danish - Icelandic - Swedish - Norwegian
EUROPE_5: English - French - German - Italian

What language you will to have ?

wanted the hutch file because that is hutchison 3g a.k.a. "3"...

have contract with 3 that has months left, but found phone much cheaper on vodafone. want to flash with 3 network software...

many thanks for your answers! actually, i'm ok now.

realised that vodafone have kindly put a green and red call and hangup buttons which having come from nokia phones, i would rather not do without.

debranding a k800 would mean that those printed buttons would have different functions!

unless.....

one of you brightsparks has debranded software that keeps the function of those buttons?
