Hi there. I have R1ED001 On my W850i and wonder what is the latest firmware for my phone cos the slow menus drive me mad with this firmware (R1ED001). Also walkman player sounds low.

I am looking for a faster and high sound-firmware. Can you inform me about which version to flash my handy?

Use this files :
W850_R1GB001_MAIN_GENERIC_CY_RED49
W850_R1GB001_FS_EUROPE_2_RED49
HB1-06_Gen_CDA102568_11_R5A_GENERIC_EUROPE_2 or you can upgrade erom CID to 52 with XS++ and than you can use this :
W850_R1KG001_MAIN_GENERIC_CY_RED52
W850_R1KG001_FS_EUROPE_2_RED52 and custpack stay the same from first combination

I wanna ask something more... If i upgrade my erom CID to 52 (and uploading my firmware to R1KG001), what i will earn and lose? Will it be any problem in the future on the issues of customizing my phone? I see patches for R1KG001 and it seems i have to do it in order to use those patches but i have doubts :(

Nothing, in newer version of firmware were some bugs fixed . No, there will be no problem in the future on the issues of customize your phone ( only for cid52 , not for cid 53 ).

yea, upgrade to CID52 and use R1KG001 Main Generic. there's a whole lot of mods available for that firmware.
