Re: where does yr back up go?

try to be specific how and what programme you used to back up, this will ensure that other users have little difficulty in assisting you.

    contacts
you can back up the contacts list to MS outlook. or use other bluetooth software and sent all you contacts to your pc and save them as MS excel file which you can later send back to you mobile. also, its a good practice to set you phone to auto save to sim card and have back up of contacts in you own sim card and this way you will not need a pc to put back in phone memory. the ony corn of contatcs to sim is the inability to save addresses and mails to sim card.

    other files on phone
you can simply drag and drop into any folder on you pc. just connect your mobile using the DCU-60 cable and you are ready to do your back up.

    backing up installed .jar applications?
anyone please help in this regard

    good day
    Send installed applications/games only DB2020 ( K800i , K810i , V630i , W880i and other ) : Tips and tricks : Sony Ericsson @ Esato

Or use patch: move java to other.vkp ( if you will I port this patch for W580 ? )
After this patch you must move games/applications to Phone memory, open folder Other/SE/Java and can send/install again.

Or this patch: Allow transfer of java applications.vkp
With MobyExplorer unmark Hidden on folder System, then go to File Manager > System > AMS and again can send/install games/applications.
