Hi everyone,
I'm newbie here, my apologies if I post some questions already asked.
I just bought an K550i: I've read a lot of thread these days, and I'm starting becoming familiar with upgrades and firmware mods. Couldn't find an answer to this (I haven't read all the thread though), so I just want to ask:

1- After a firmware upgrade with SEUS (connecting to the official SE website for firmware download), do you get back on the phone also the original wallpapers, themes and ringtones originally preloaded on the phone? (I accidentally deleted them on mine, and since the firmware is quite old, I wondered if a firmware update will also add back the missing files).

2- How do you know which firmware version will be updated on your phone? I've read that some newer firmware will make quite hard / tricky any future mods using XS++ or similar tools, so I'd rather avoid an update to such FW versions.

Any help or suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

Ok,
I have just flashed my new phone with SEUS, and here's the results (just as a note to whoever might be interested - I understand that this might have been posted dozens of times before, my apologies if I post again anything obvious):

1- The firmware update also rewrite the FS, so all the original applications, images, themes, etc are added again to the phone. So if you deleted them before, you'll get them back with a simple update with SEUS.

2- SEUS, before the update process, it tells you to which version of the firmware it will update the phone. It doesn't tell you which CID though!!
