As far as I know, the new XS++ (3.2) will support CID53 and then you'll be able to flash/debrand. And there is no way you can lower the CID unless you updated a CID52 yourself and have the CID52 EROM from before the update...

I'm almost to the point of Test point if this doesn't become clear... As soon as I can DL here (if I last now that I hear it's a month wait (not really worth it for me) but my patience is getting the better of me so I might just use the dl from other places and just go at it like I've been doing until it works or bricks....
