I can confirm XS+ works on Vista. I used vista home premium to flash my w580 and it worked flawlessly.

i have been trying to get anything to work on my mac, using virtual pc and windows xp home. i can get a connection ... almost, but that's it. using xs in particular i get a 'did not receive 0x5a, continuing' message. and setool lite crashes before it opens :( i've tried many drivers and it works fine on my g/f's pc .. ?

Nobody can be sure will anithing work on your computer. May be yes but...

I change 15 motherboards to find the best for gsm service. And now everything work with it.
Only Nokia 5210 cannot connect with any box or cable. its not problem :) it work on other pc.
For comunication with GSM and Gsm service,
Windows Xp Ultimate edition (called "eXPerience") is The best OS.

And for some mobile phones and software Windows 98SE

Mac is Great but not for this job.
Vista looks great but is not for any job. Maybe some day will be. Something will work, something will stop in worst moment and something will not work.
