Increasing SMS storage

I tried writing /card instead of /tpa in pref_store.txt and now my free space for SMS increased to 60 000.

This looks something that could work on another phones, like the S500 (it's the one I have :P), it also has support for a memory card. Do think it could work? Or not at all? Why?

I Did It.
BUT !!!!!! Phone Manager Shows increasd SPACE but i m unable to send or receive messages.

PHONE SAYS NO SPACE ON RECEIVING NEW MESSAGE.
TRIED EVEYTHING. SCRIPT FILE, Manual directory creation etc etc.

Then I reverted back with old script file and its Ok! 200 but Working

ANY IDEAS?????

i don't think so, the phone is almost the same as k310i...

I think this only works on K750i, W800i and Z520i.
