hi guys i just got the same red ring of death problem on my 580i , i click the power button and the red light on the C button flashes this is my log on setools

what did u do? Looks like a brick to me. Do you have a backup of the GDFS for that phone?

I also had the very same problem of error:29, which most probably is a brick.
even the service centre couldn't repair it and i got a new set.

if u wanna give EROM update a try then use KulanKendi. it will surely update ur EROM. After that try to Flash ur Main, FS and customization. That is ur only hope.
