Flashing your phone with a walkman firmware would function properly but you won't get any network.

You cannot possibly extract the walkman and flash it to K800i. What i have done is, i installed KD Player along with the best possible walkman skin. Then i made the right button (Menu button) into a walkman button and linked it to KD Player. Now when i press the right button it fires up the walkman (not exactly, but KD Player is way better in many functions).
Try it.

Its very difficult to do any such modifications because according to me the media player of K800i is in the MAIN and that is the most difficult part to edit. :)

Hi, just a couple of things to ask....

I have a k800i, is there a way to replace the media player on the phone to walkman 2.0 or 3.0 becuase its only software isnt it???

and i have a w580i, is the walkman player 1.0 2.0 or 3.0, and can the player be updated with a newer player??

w580 has walkman 2.0 and k800 needs walkman 3.0 but it can't works :rolleyes: because when you flash on walkman firm (i don't know from which fone), any functions can't works... sorry for bad english (I am Slovak) maybe you understand:D
