Unlock z310 (pnx5230) for free/money cable/imei... ANYTHING!

Hello, first post.

To be honest I found this site as a result of long search for unlocking the Z310 which I bought to give as a gift to someone in US on the T-Mobile network.
Anyway I figure I'd just buy it, get it unlocked for 20-something bucks and be done with it... not so apparently.
I got the cracked SETool2 which I later found out does not work with this platform (thanks to this forum!)
I also read about the flashing method (again thanks to this forum!)

I cant find someone who can do a Z310 unlock for money either. GSMLiberty for example says they can unlock any Fido phone or SE phone.... so long as they are on the db..... platform. OOPS!!!

Does anyone have any ideas? Am I missing something? It all seems very confusing and its been a while since I was playing around with flashing my Moto v400, and now I'm at a point where I just wanna throw that phone at the wall.
I tried calling Fido using the old "international travel" trick, to no avail. Local shops also proved useless.

Please let me know if there is some way I can do this. I would prefer an IMEI unlock since I dont have a cable, but if I have to get a cable, I can, if there is a possibility to unlock by a DIY method.

I need to buy the phone cable, cruiser dongle, get the dcu-60 cable, dl their cruiser software, and buy their credits, or logs, w/e they call them?

no free metod for now, only pay ~ 50 Euro ... or You have z310 CID51 now on SeTool "patch unlock" -> for 1 log ~ 4$ but You need original SeTool not "SeTool lite"...

Z310 has a different platform than the "usual" other phones. It's PNX5230, not DB2010/12 or DB2020.
The only server I saw that offers unlocking is davinciteam. But you should write them a mail first to ask them. On the Z310i site they offer unlocking but PNX5230 is not listed in their price table.
If they do not unlock it, you should find someone with an SE Tool Box or with Cruiser Plus. Buying one of these tools would'nt make sense just to unlock 1 phone.
