    @louis - Hey, long time no see... hahahah...
    You can't upload fonts on SE K800i without editing the layout.xml file, unless you already have a set of fonts to mach the display perfectly.
    I have found two fonts to match the K800 display size perfectly. They're cool and easy to read. Here they are.

    im looking to use specific fonts of choice to fit into my K800... I have some collections that already are fit for my K800 but I'm looking forward to converting incompatible fonts to work in K800 without needing to alter any settings in the layout.xml...

    I'm still working on it... hopefully I have good results. *continues* ;)

    If you want to upload a new set of fonts, you have to use XS++ 3.0 - FSX option:

    - create a folder named "files_to_upload" in the XS++ installation directory;
    - in "files_to_upload" create the following folder structure: TPA\PRESET\SYSTEM\FONTS
    - the full path should be something like this: C:\Program Files\XS++ 3.0\files_to_upload\TPA\PRESET\SYSTEM\FONTS
    - in TPA\PRESET\SYSTEM\FONTS folder structure put the following files:
    - SF_Theramin_Gothic_bold.ttf
    - SF_Theramin_Gothic_regular.ttf
    - FONTS.XML

    - K800 original FONTS.XML looks like this:
    <xml>
    <engine cache_size="131072" default="yes">
    <font style="sans-serif" weight="normal">/tpa/preset/system/fonts/Sans-Serif_Europe_Reg.ttf</font>
    </engine>
    <engine cache_size="262144" default="no">
    <font style="sans-serif" weight="bold" >/tpa/preset/system/fonts/Sans-Serif_Europe_Bd.ttf</font>
    <font style="sans-serif" weight="italic" s01="20" >/tpa/preset/system/fonts/Sans-Serif_Europe_Reg.ttf</font>
    <font style="sans-serif" weight="bold-italic" s01="20" >/tpa/preset/system/fonts/Sans-Serif_Europe_Bd.ttf</font>
    </engine>
    </xml>

    - now you have to edit the FONTS.XML file, replacing the following values like this:
    <xml>
    <engine cache_size="131072" default="yes">
    <font style="sans-serif" weight="normal">/tpa/preset/system/fonts/SF_Theramin_Gothic_regular.ttf</font>
    </engine>
    <engine cache_size="262144" default="no">
    <font style="sans-serif" weight="bold" >/tpa/preset/system/fonts/SF_Theramin_Gothic_bold.ttf</font>
    <font style="sans-serif" weight="italic" s01="20" >/tpa/preset/system/fonts/SF_Theramin_Gothic_regular.ttf</font>
    <font style="sans-serif" weight="bold-italic" s01="20" >/tpa/preset/system/fonts/SF_Theramin_Gothic_bold.ttf</font>
    </engine>
    </xml>

    - turn off the phone, remove and reinsert the battery (do not turn on the phone)
    - open XS++ and press "Connect" button
    - press and hold the "C" key on the phone and connect the USB cable
    - select FSX option in XS++
    - press "Start FSX" and wait to complete the upload
    - Done. The files are now uploaded on the phone.
    - disconnect the USB cable, remove and reinsert the battery
    - turn on the phone.

    If you want to upload the original K800 fonts again, follow the same procedure, only that this time the content of TPA\PRESET\SYSTEM\FONTS will be like this:
    - Sans-Serif_Europe_Reg.ttf
    - Sans-Serif_Europe_Bd.ttf
    - FONTS.XML (the original K800 file)

    I hope this guide will help you to solve your problem.
    Don't hezitate to use the THANKS button.

    GOOD LUCK! BE WELL!
