in last time sony ericsson had always a new firmware for k800 but now? R1KG001 is the last firmware who sony ericsson had relased... will be a new firmware in the next time or is this improbable? then i think a new firmware would be good for the phone

I think there will not be a new software for k800, that whay I have flash my k800 with k810 firm.

K series takes pictures and handles them better then any W series
W series have better looking walkman player (kd-player can replace it very well in design and functionality with the playlist/s and stuff) and the megabass but i understand it can be ported somehow on K series as well.

my choice is and will be K series =)

I just flash my K550i with w610i firmware, and it's work fine, now I have Cyber-shot Walkman phone.....:p

with all this cross-flashing K and W series you end up with shitty phones. how stupid is that?
the ONLY and ONLY exception to this, which SE WILL NEVER MAKE AGAIN, were K750 and W800 phones.

- if you want a SUPERBASS go buy a walkman.
- if you want SUPER 10.5MP camera go buy a digital camera.
- if you want to make CALLS then buy a phone.

The walkman thing is just a gimmick ,infact it's annoying because some of the bad songs on it that come stock can't be deleted. Just find a symbian mediaplayer
