Simply try to update from SEUS. If you phone is CID49 it should be updated to CID52 along with coresponding R1KG001 firmware.

In order to do this install Sony Ericsson Update Service aplication, go to internet, connect your phone to the PC and complete the update.

lol, CID52 WILL NOT make your phone better in any way.
i still don't understand why newbies rush to update their phones over to CID52.

If one consider to update his phone firmware or drivers it's because an update is suposed to be an improvement for the phone. I don't think it could do any wrong.

Eventually all of us will have to make the step forward.

if above is true then i suggest looking at this overview

K800 Firmware Overview : Software : Sony Ericsson @ Esato

i am still at R1GB001 and it has proven to be the best firmware yet,and i didnot rush off to update and have CID52 only to end up regretting doing it so (like some did).

My SE K800 is currently runing on this:
    - K800_R1KG001_MAIN_GENERIC_RED52
    - K800_RQGK001_FS_MEDITERR_RED52
    - HB1_06_Gen_CDA102568_4_R6A_GENERIC_MEDITERR
    - original Sans-Serif_Europe fonts replaced by SF Theramin Gothic fonts

I'm pleased by the phone functional performance, because so far it performed without a hitch.

BTW: SE Menu Editor 1.4 support K800 menu editing?
