yes Custpack is necessary with it u wont have a working if Custpack is not in it

You need a custpack if you flash your FS. The phone won't work without flashing the custpack after the FS.
You can buy an account or wait till you've got enough posts and 1month registered.
It's all stated in the forum rules.

I believe with the newer version 2 of XS++ the cust packs are already there. Just make sure you have corresponding MAIN & FS

1. The extension is .fbn/.bin
2. The name is phone-model_firmware_region
3. Important! if the extension is .bin, there isn't word 'MAIN' in the file

Correct me if I'm wrong.
