    i use w800i r1bc002 patched and i haven't a problem with it.

    i have the same on my k750i, is there a newer firmware than r1bc002?

    I think that the best option, not necessarily the best, firmawre to choose is R1CA021 as it is stable and has the most patches avaliable for it.
