Patch Unlocking - cid 49 51 - copy from another phone

So you make a backup of the main portion of your phone, which is patch unlocked (or backup just like rest file but bigger in size - almost all main).

If you have another phone, same model and with same firmware in it, and then you flash this backup file, shouldn't this second phone be also unlocked?
Who can test this to see if it works?
It's main and not gdfs or something dangerous so I really think this should work

I' ve tried and it does not work. At the moment my phone starts, but freezes after a few seconds and it it is locked. Plz help W550i.

It is impossible. Variables in Gdfs don't match with main and so it is locked.

Phone still locked and freezes. Can any one help me. I need to find out how to read the settings in the otp so that I can repair my gdfs. I have all ready reverse eng. another gdfs's imei no into mine and some settings, but there is still some funky setting in otp that is dif. from the gdfs.

flashing any main does not lock your phone or cause any trouble
why flashing a patched main would cause this kind of trouble?
main is just the operating sistem of the phone...
