[SOLVED] Slider sounds for w580i?

I hope i posted in the right place...

im really new to the whole modding-of-cell-phones and actually cell phones in general but i heard that you could put slider sounds on the sony ericsson w580i, and i want to but i dont know how.

could someone help me please, either tell me how or point me in the right direction?

do you know where to find the .mbn files for download?
i saw some in the downloads section but when i clicked on them to download it said i couldnt access it.
i had only downloaded 2 of my 10 allowed downloads and only around 28 mb out of my allowed 50 mb

one other thing, do i have to have my phone unlocked to mod it and use patches and things? and does everything (modding, patches, anything else (not sure if those are different)) require me to have my phone unlocked?

Locked,unlocked-that isn't matter for patching, but branding are.So if you have branded phone(like Vodafone,Orange or something) you need to debrand with Generic firmware

is debranding the same as flashing?
or does debranding require you to flash the phone?
is debranding and flashing related somehow/use the same processes?
sorry im really new to this and dont know the meanings of some of these things

i couldnt find a tutorial about debranding, it was always something about flashing or something :confused:

basically your gonna look up the ".mbn" (main firmware file) and the ".fs" files. (NOTE: Both must be the same firmware number EX. w580i R8ba024.mbn & w580i R8ba024.fs). Then dl XS++ and SEtools 1.11) Then look up flashing firmware guides or upgrading firmware guides.
