You need to edit the ttf font file and add them to the whole font.....

My custom font has all languages from the default europe font file including Greek (actually was the first fixed language in the font for stonnos :p).

its the Sony Sketch thread :) but has a compatibility issue with Opera Mini 4 (OM v3 works fine though).

You need a program like Font Creator (I reconmend), or FontLab Studio (I reconmend NOT using as it miss calculates the Glyphs while generating the font, and you get mis shaped characters and stuff).

My font is posted here: Sony Sketch - True Type Font - Top Sony Forums latest current version is 2.0.5

And to add Greek you would need to take another ttf font that contains a Greek character set that you like the look of, open both fonts at the same time with font creator.

Highlight the window of font you wish to add the Greek to, press "insert/Glyphs" and add the amount of Glyphs that the Greek Language you want to add contains then press OK.

(you can also select "insert/characters", that would skip the need to edit the Glyph properties, but I dont know Greek so I did it the long way as it seems easier "for me").

(if you added Greek via "insert/characters" skip this part), your new empty Glyphs will be placed at the botton of the Glyph table, now we need to add the names/mappings, highlight the window that contains the Greek you wish to insert the right click on the first character and select properties..... take note of the Glyph name (something like uni0033), the click on the mappings tab, and take note of the Glyphs mapping (something like $0033.... must have "$" infront of it)..... then highlight the window of the font you wish to add the Greek to and right click on one of those empty Glyphs and add the name/mapping code to the Glyph (one again it must have "$" infront of the mapping, you must press the add button and make sure that it moves to the lower window where you seen it in the other Glyph properties).....

Now we can add the character, highlight the character you wish to add and press "ctrl + c" to copy the whole Glyph, then highlight the empty Glyph you just added the mapping to and pess "ctrl + v" to paste the character in the new font......

do that for all the character's and save the font file with your newly added Greek language.... (sounds alot more conplicated then it is :p)

Removing the g & j bug can be for different day (lol) but in short, thats basicly how to add languages to your font.

(you can also use FontLab Studio which is alot quicker.... BUT it miss calculates the Glyphs when generating the font and they end up all different hights and stuff.... terrible program)

To find the Greek Glyph in the window you want to copy the characters from make sure its highlighted and press "ctrl + f" to search and type the Glyph's "mapping" (not name) into the search and it will take you stright to the Glyph :)

Also uploaded my Greek Template - This is just the default Europe ttf font file with ALL languages apart from the Greek Glyph set deleted, so you can use this as a guide or add the default Greek Character set from this file ;)

And for althose people using other shoddy fonts that have all the symbols missing, here's the SE symbols Glyph set, apply the same rules as above and add the symbols thats missing from the font :p

If this helps anyone with there fonts dont be shy with the thanks button hehe....

    Enjoy.... diezil
