W660i Flash

I'm trying to unlock my old SE w660i. It was origionally on the Three network.

I managed to flash the phone with the Generic / European software last night and it completed ok according to XS++. Only thing is, now when I turn the thing back on after inserting another sim card, the new software loads up ok but I get an error telling me to insert correct sim.

I can't test it with my old Three sim as that is now inactive...

Have I missed a step along the way? I just assumed that flashing the phone would unlock it. Is there someother patch I need to install on it?

I am at work at the mo so I don't have all the details on me but I made sure that I used the correct firmware versions (kept the same CID and platform numbers). And I followed the guide on this forum on how to flash the phone word for word.

If anyone can throw some light on this I would be a happy man....
