btw, both phones ARE CID 52's so should be good with Simox's patch.

Again, thanks for info re ultimate unlocker... didn't realise until searched that it was available on this site (duh!) so if my quest to do this myself amount to zero today, will go ahead and order that.

NOW I know how to find which 'main' and 'fs' files I need :)
After reading back posts, opened setools again with k610i and this time, hit 'identify' button (not previously tried) and sure enough... list showed this -
