Damsel in distress... really!! hitting brick walls everywhere-even here!

Sorry to be a snivelling female, but am really upset- and am hoping some kind knight will come to my aid. My husband's k610i was showing intermittent inactive sim since we arrived in Belgium last week, and desperate to keep in touch here with him and my old mum (75) back in the UK, tried to buy local SIM's but were told they wouldn't work because phones still locked to vodafone uk. We still have 4 more weeks to go here and so decided to see if I could unlock phone rather than buying new one. As vodafone take about a week to process, did internet search on 'unlocking sims' - Found much info and relatively cheap to buy, so using MY K800i as test case, got programs in bundle (xs++ and others) and followed instructions.

My k800i completed the 'flashing' (as I now know it is!!) and phone became debranded - but didn't expect menus and buttons etc to all change. Now hoping I could put it back to vodafone menus and buttons.

i also debranded my k800i from vodafone, i do miss the call buttons and the battery and signal icons but the vodafone branding is horrible i kept the wap internet links by using a special custpack i made, anyway to rebrand you need

download that firmware from the download section and flash it with xs++3.1 theres loads of flashing guides around this forum just search.

Great - so off I went and registered...

Managed to find the first 2 x files, downloaded and unzipped them, but when I came to the third file - CDA one - took some time to find, but eventually did, and right clicked to save, just like the others, but then I was told I don't have either any permission, or quota left !!!!! (I should have 10 downloads - used 2 = 8 left!!!)

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaagh !!!

I'm desperately trying to repair the phone back to some semblence of order (still haven't looked at husband's k610i yet - moved his sim to an unlocked samsung c300 so at least we are in communication)

Is there anyone out there who could perhaps send me the files (and instructions) to reuse this xs++ or whatever to reinstate the phone to vodafones menu/looks etc?

I'm not a rocket scientist - I was suppose to spend my time during the days embroidering and knitting - doing girly stuff - not flashing phones and stuff!! I'm a Reverend and praying over the phone hasn't restored it back... so, c'mon all you knights in shining armour - please show me what to do with this. Even if the phone ends up being relocked back to vodafone uk, it will be cheaper to get it unlocked with them rather than having to buy a new phone over here.
