Help needed unlocking W580i

I bought it off ebay and it is not unlocked. It's from at&t. I need step by step guide, Please. An please I am totally new to this unlocking, so please explain me in easy words.

And your must be on CID52 since its DB2020.

So if your DB2020 phone have been updatet to CID53....Your doomed..
Sim-Lock patch generator and SETool lite wont unlock it?

Please download XS++ or Setoolslite and post the log here when you hook up.

Cid 53 (Etc) can only be unlooked through a pay service like D-Unlocker, however cid 52 (Etc) can be patched unlocked for free using files from Top Sony.

If you have a friend who has AT&T you can simply ask them to call and get an unlock code for your phone(if you're on CID53 that is).

Or you can purchase unlock codes; this is probably the easiest way to go.

First of all install the USB flash drivers and download setool2lite or XS++.
Post an identify log to determine what CID you have.

If it is CID 52 or lower, you can use setool2lite to unlock it with the link they gave you before.
If it is CID 53, you can not unlock it for free, you will need setool box or use a server like D-Unlocker.
