SE db2020 Image Tool
I present you a new software - SE db2020 Image Tool.

It allows to change system graphics on db2020 phones.
Tested on my К800 (flashed into К810).
Working with software:
1. Download from internet your's firmware same version, as in your phone
2. Convert it to RAW format using babe2raw
3. Open RAW file in SE db2020 Image Tool and wait until it loads images
4. Select image which you want to replace
5. Press "Replace selected image" button
6. Locate and open image which you want to replace to.
7. Repeat the same for any number of images
8. Press "Make .vkp patch" button
9. Save patch to disc and patch your phone with JDFlasher or SETool2 lite
Button "Save image to disc" allows you to save original image.

You can change images to other size, but that's not well tested

- support of packed graphics
- small fixes

Version 1.1 (08.01.2008):
- colors are shown correctly now
- if checked "Fix colors and optimize image" then colors are fixed and image is optimized by pngout before saving

i got some problem...
When i want to replace any icon it shows a warning message..
"Image is too big, Can't replace."
What is the problem??
Please reply me.....

Something wrong with the langauge,all texts are "???" even though i have English checked.

Another thing,i already have made some patches to my phone,does uploading a new modified system graphic firmware lose my old patches...?

This software overwrites original images with modified, so new image must be less or equal (in bytes) to the original.
Try to reduce number of used colors, or image size so image would compress better.

Hmm... I'll try to fix language problems in next version... you may try to switch your system locale to Ukrainian or Russian - that should help.

And about patches - no, you will not loose any patches, because this software will genetate .vkp patches, which contain only modified graphics.

So, I've updated SE db2020 Image Tool.
Now it should work ok on all locales, no more questions instead of letters!
And, a few fixes and new features.

Great Tool!

Works with my V630 converted to K610 R1JG001.

Though loading the RAW file takes quite a long time, is it possible if this could be sped up?
If that's not possible, how about some kind of function to remember the last used RAW file for quick loading?

This program is great but I cant Seem to get transparent images to work on it. they always appear with black around them.
Also I'm wondering if it will be possible in the near future to use a larger png then the original cause it really sucks having to lower the size of a png?

it si because image tool supports transparency only with rgb+ alpha....and when you use photoshop and you use "save for web"- this function remove alpha channel...

Version 2.00 is out! Now with an option to delete some images and use that space for others!

So, fixed v2.02 is out
News:
- fixed possible images overlapping while replacing
- direct reading of mbn (BABE) (no need to convert to RAW) - thanks to INFerno-- (aka se-team).
- added image filter
- added "expert mode" which shows some technical info. Soon there will be more "expert" functions

No, because that phones are not db2020.
Use sysgfx patch instead.

Use the latest version of DB2020 Image tool V2.03
In latest version you dont have to convert mbn file to raw
You can open direct Main (mbn) file....:D

From Here you can Download latest version and find Tutorial to make gfx patch

cool, i'm new here and i found out i can only extract one icon at a time. . is abt 1900 icons, any easier way to extract all icons in single click ?
