w580i battery

i wanna know how much time last the battery life of urs w580i???

for me 2 days and i listen to music 24 hours a day...

if u play games & music u need to charge to each day if not it can keep u up 2 4days hurricane in my country last month & i never had light for 2 weeks & my w800 keep me 4 days

for 2 3 4 days in maximum...

letsee.. its been 3 days and it looks like my battery is still over half so thats good, but like everything the battery life is gonna decrease like in couple months or something

4 Days from full charge

I was searching on the net for 580i battery info and I came across this post. I just recently got my 580i and I'm wondering if my battery life is normal.

Some of you reported around 3-4 days of usage before charge, but some websites report it has 7 days standby and around 7hrs talk time. Does anyone have these results?

I use my phone to listen to music when I am going to work and coming home on the bus. Each trip takes around 1.5hr. So I am listening to music non-stop for about 3hrs a day, then add about 30mins max of talk time each day.

Adding all of this together, I use the phone for about 3.5hrs a day, and I need to charge it about once every 2 days.


Does this usage vs. charge time seem reasonable? Anyone else experiencing the same usage vs. charge time as me? It just seems a bit on the low end comparing to my other Nokia phone.

2 to 3 days is what i can confirm with average phone use. but if i put screen brightness to 60% it helps a lot...
i have the phone for one week now. i heard that the battery will reach full power after 10 cycles.
and yess, it´s getting better and better.
i hope for 5 days in the end.

right now my battery usage is hovering in the 3-4 days. I have my screen down to 50% though and I only use the walkman for maybe 30minutes a day and play some games for a few minutes talk for maybe 30minutes a day...

Make sure that you don't have the fitness program running in the background as that will eat up the battery life...

I recharged the phone in 3-4 days with avg use. (Some games and about an hour of walkman everyday). From my experience with mp3 players if you turn on the acoustic boost on the walkman the battery will drain faster.

if i leave in standby without touch the cellphone, 6 days from full chage

i get 3 days with listening to music and other average use the only time i really do that kills that battery is when i watch video once in a while except u still can get a whole day with watching a couple vids

i can use 4 days without listenning music. but when i watch a video, it's uncertain! :D

Videos do drain the battery, but other than that it seems to last for ever :) .

few thing conribute in battery liftetime:
-battery capacity
-charge
-backlight
-mobile network signal
-whether the phone is on or off at night
-volume when you listen to music
-display size
-battery age
-number of charge cycles battery has done.
-quality of the battery (if it isn't original)

as most of people say: 2-3 days ;)

my daughter has the w580i and uses it heavy for songs,it lasts around 2 days for her;)

ive noticed a very poor battery life...

not long, there days at most.

I lowered the brightness on my phone, and my 580 battery lasts for a week

the k800i has a bettery life from 3 days, longer?

my 580i lasts for 2 days as well, using the walkman on the bus for an hour or so a day. my fitness prog is on, i just love that step counter, never knew i walked that much a day...and i am rarely shaking my thingie :D

I find that in standby the phone is good for about 6 days, listening to music for about 7 hours a day it'll last about 3 days.
If you talk a lot, it'll be a lot less. I get about five hours talk time with mine.

Mine seems to last 3-4 days depending on how I use it. It has an amazing standby time though so if you're not very popular it will last all week.;)

My mothers last 5-6 days, but she doesn`t use much.
