Hi guys,

I was searching on the net for 580i battery info and I came across this post. I just recently got my 580i and I'm wondering if my battery life is normal.

Some of you reported around 3-4 days of usage before charge, but some websites report it has 7 days standby and around 7hrs talk time. Does anyone have these results?

I use my phone to listen to music when I am going to work and coming home on the bus. Each trip takes around 1.5hr. So I am listening to music non-stop for about 3hrs a day, then add about 30mins max of talk time each day.

Adding all of this together, I use the phone for about 3.5hrs a day, and I need to charge it about once every 2 days.


Does this usage vs. charge time seem reasonable? Anyone else experiencing the same usage vs. charge time as me? It just seems a bit on the low end comparing to my other Nokia phone.

2 to 3 days is what i can confirm with average phone use. but if i put screen brightness to 60% it helps a lot...
i have the phone for one week now. i heard that the battery will reach full power after 10 cycles.
and yess, it´s getting better and better.
i hope for 5 days in the end.
