Reflashing k800i to k810i

Hello! im totally new to flashing mobiles etc, i have checked guides here but i dont seem to understand which files i need, please consider me at the highest level of newbie when you explain things to me :)

I need help flashing my Sony Ericsson k800i to the new k810i software, i have dowloaded xs++ software which i have understood that i need to flash the phone and i have paid for premium membership here so that i can download all files i need from here too.

Now i need yyour help, i have no idea of what files i should use to flash the phone with can anyone help me with this?

when i connected the phone to xs++ i got this info (might be usefull to you)

Europe_4(CDA102511/101)

This is all i know please explain to me step by step how and which files i need to flash my phone!

In XS++3.1 check "Flash Main Firmware" and choose
K810_R8BA024_MAIN_GENERIC_SM_RED52, then check "Flash File System" and choose K810_R8BA024_FS_EUROPE_4_RED52, then check "Customize File System", select phone model K810, select CDA and region "EUROPE4" and press "Flash".
After flashing, you must search for K800_lighteffects.rar and Far Manager. you must upload K800_lighteffects to tpa/preset/system/lighteffect/systemeffects, by using FAR and this Tutorial. You didn't say anything about CID, so i assumed you have CID52.

i have one thing more i need to have done and that is to unlock the phone, its currently locked to the teleoperator "3" do you or anyone else have a guide for this as well? i need a good guide and which files to use.

I think you mean "unlocking", because you already debranded. You can't apply patches with XS++, so you must use SeTool.

Ok i understand, when i patched using the instructions i get this message when i start the phone: configurationserror. contact your telecomoperator or servicecenter
Its not the exact message i get i transelated it from Swedish to english

what can be wrong? when i check service menu it displays that the phone is unlocked but i cant use it with my simcard.

u need to download a custom pack and flash it to ur phone from the download area
u will find its easyer to flash with se tool as well

could you be specific on which Custom pack i need?

then add it to xs and flash it to ur phone will solve ur problem 100%

hyperion i cannot select phone modell k810 because it does not seem to exist on xs++ 3.2

I dont know if I can ask my question here or no.
I have flash my k800 to k810 by setool2lite and used meny patches. It was working properly and there was no problem. But one day I used a patch and my mobile freezed and I had to take the battry out. when I inserted the battry , it dosent turn on (Read blinking). I tried to reflash it by setool2lite or xs ,but they didnt recognized my mobile, dosent make any diffrent using (C) or (2+5) . So i had to leave it at a reapare shop. He testpointed it. It is working now.I kan flash it from K800 to K810 and customize it . but i cannot use patch as before.
Can any body please help me? ( sorry for my bad english)

yea show us the read out from setool, or you may be missing the quick access patch

Somebody person has got problem with XS++ for try FLASH. but if you do it and "CustomCast" then all is good.

download xs or setool2lite1.11 from the download section and upgrade it to CID52 first and follow this tutorial

but use the CID52 firmware only not CID53

righto, just signed up so I could flash my K800i to K810i, used this as my guide Flash K800 CID53 with K810 software CID53 (for begginers)

did everything correct or as it told me to, now when I turn my phone on it just flashes and said please wait? think I broke it.. =/ anyone out there feel like helping a noob or whatever ya call em, much appreciated.. XD
