This might be a stupid question. But anybody here please tell me what is flashing? What is XS ++, what is firmware... All kind of definition. I read a lot of things in this forum about these thing. But I still don't know what is it and what is it purpose.
By the way, what firmware is best for w580i :D

Flashing means:
- Installing a new firmware/Filesystem/Custpack, on the phone.
You can through flashing:
-brand/debrand
-install patches
-replace drivers(display, sound, bluetooth, camera etc.)
-modify some functions(ex: SMS storage)
-repair phone if it has EROM or GDFS problems.

How strange, i don't even have a XS++ folder!
i just have the shortcut. should i uninstall it and try again?
