hi all..
I have problem with communication with my phone(k800i cid53). I’ve installed ubuntu, installed needed libs, and when i run xs++ 4.1 i have this error:

what is problem? must I install some drivers for dcu60 cable??

Wow! Five months have passed since they started working on this software, still no support for windows. Not fair...
heard that beta version for linux/mac can flash cid53, for windows, be patience.
XS++ v4.1 latest version for Linux, can it repair an EROM CID53?
That's true, but devs are only developing on Linux platform...sad but true.
We only have to wait till they go on with windows version.
I think it will take log time even if MOST OF US use windows os.

Everyone who is complaining about no Windows version - just get a portable distro of Linux and run it off a CD or USB drive.
Slax is ~200mb and I had it running on my old 1GB USB drive before it snapped (it was one of those slim ones..).
So that's what I'll be doing anyway if the Linux version supports db3150 and Windows isn't released at that time.
There are many small distros, some even ~50mb, so really it's not hard to get Linux running, just make sure it has the minimum requirements for the application to run (I'm sure most will work).
Will this support CID 53??

Lets clear up few things.
Next Version of PhoneXS(XS++) will be released for Windows along with Linux version.
To support FSX for CID53 Also. And CID53 flashing obviously.
May be patching.
Coming soon. How soon. don't know. But soon.
And then 4.1 for windows could not come in time because of usb drivers for windows.
New USB drivers for windows designed by brooks are really fast and work amazing.
DB3150 Flashing, keep your fingers crossed. Definitely will take time. And certainly coming.
You won't get more accurate information then this.

i was lucky, i bought a w580i a few days ago and it was a CID52 :D
I hope the XS++ team releases the new version sooner than later.
I flashed my K550i (cid53) to W610i by using XS++ 4.1beta for linux.
But i can't use FSX.
you can use FSX function indirectly though. just figure out how !!
