After finally figuring out what I need to do to unlock my CID53 W880i...I get the above error when pressing Alt-F1, then 'just da flasher'. I have uninstalled and reinstalled, and the plugin is there! Version of FAR I'm running is the version that includes JDFlasher.

Ok, using another computer, I got it to work. BUT:

I have made a 'Remove_Sim_Lock' patch, but my phone errors out if I try to patch it...because of CID53.

setool doesn't support CID53, you need to do with far, start setool and click on identify, connect your phone while holding c and post the log here so that i can guide you which MAIN, FS and custpack to use in far so that you can unlock your phone, btw do you have any supported simcard (i.e a simcard that yout phone accept coz you'll gonna need it)

As for SIM card, I have an AT&T for here in North America, and a T-Mobile with no service. I had used them fine before the simlock.
