A quick one here

Guys and gals I have the exact same problem with the post :

which is SOLVED. The only thing I need you to tell me is how to upload the oem custpack. Which program to use and what to download. I live in Greece so it would be helpful if you tell me which is the correct pack. Sorry if I don't link correctly with the post above, but it is my first post here.
All these tutorials are useless to me for the time being, cause I just don't know what to look for. ...

download the right custom pack that u want leave it in rar fourm add it to the mics box on se tool and press flash job sorted

I also need to point out 2 more things :
-When I try using the official sony ericsson update service, when I plug my phone to the usb , hloding c, the entire computer freezes and I have to reset .
-The same happens when I use xs++. The computer freezes or doesn't find my phone.
What could be the problem?

Do u mean Se_tool_lite or se_toolbox? or is it the same? do u believe tt will recognize my phone?

Important note : when I plug the phone in my pc, the pc recognizes it and can access its files. Sony Update Service and xs++ DON'T recognize it and freeze the entire system :(
Any ideas why this happens? I'm using XP sp3.Should I try it on another computer? With vista maybe?

dont use seus or u will end up with a cid 53 not the best thing to have try a diffrent com port on ur pc or posbley a diffrent usb cable and use se tool lite unless u have a se tool box ?

try on another computer, your computer OS might be corrupt

Is it possible that the usb cable needs changing? I have oticed that several times I need to press it firmly on the phone in order for the pc to understand it's connected.
Do u think I will have better luck on Vista?
Could you also tell me which files to download? the latest firmware,MAIN and FS files?
Should I look for CID53? and then what's the newest among those listed?

it depends on what cid you have, if you have cid53, you can look for cid53 otherwise its useless looking for that.
