As far as i know hotmail doesn't support pop3 anymore, unless you have a premium account.

    Nice day

Very true, you will need a premium account which cost money per month i think they have diff. packages eg: 10$, 20$...

I recommend you using gmail.com it has free pop3 access ;) 2gb of space..
They even have a .jar program (not needed) ;)

    Cheers

thanks for your help guys but I don't intend to pay for this when other email accounts do this for free and I don't intend to set-up another email account just so that I can use it on my phone especially when i have had my hotmail for years, so if hotmail don't use this facility, then i will just have to put up with it or wait or tell them to get with the times and not charge!

But thanks all the same guys for your help

    Jamie

why don't you access Sony Ericsson - Sony Ericsson
and try using their auto mail configuration... they will send you the configuration message for accessing your mailbox... http://www.sonyericsson.com/cws/supp...0i?cc=ro&lc=ro

    it will be useful..

No, you cannot use that too.. the only solution is to pay(if you want)
but for the computer, you can use pop3 with hotmail with third-party application

    Re: pop3 settings for hotmail?

I also recommend GMail.com. GoogleMail has more free service than any other E-Mail-Provider (especially free IMAP-Protocol). And there there is supposed to be a personal online harddisc free for all GMail users.
