I was having problems customizing the FS with my w600i and xs++, rendering my phone useless.

This program was able to flash my phone properly and now I'm in business.

Do you find this program more useful and reliable than xs++ or are they both useful for different things?

I use XS++ for flashing, and changing drivers, icons etc.,
but SetoolLite2 is the best for applying patches, and few other things...

The problem with your SET3 is not that the archive is pw protected. Even if you would find out the password with bruteforce you wouldn't be able to use it because it's dongle protected.
