I've flashed mine and couple of others from topsony did and it works just fine!

do you think it's worth it? Does the cyber-shot logo and things of that sort still show up or is it then substituted for everything walkman? And could you give me a link maybe to the download on this site where i could download the filmware? Thanks again.

For me it's definitely worth it, flash menus are great and sound is super! (I use Walkman a lot).
The only downside is the camera cover that is not active, but you get used to it and I hope there will be a patch to fix it soon :)
After you're 1 month old on forum and 20 posts, you'll be able to download all you need from download section/firmware/w610 and custpach/w610.
