As you can see I'm a n00b at flashing and don't even know what these custom files are..

Try to find Generic_your country , but if there isn't custpack for your country,download Generic_Lam - open with notepad and look for your operator - if is inside,you can use that custpack

For free you can't do backup of your GDFS - only with some payed service.
And I'm not sure about A2Uploader and MasterReset, but I recomend - DON'T do MASTER RESET after using A2UPLOADER

I have the W595_R3DA026_FS_WESTERN-EUROPE_RED52.fbn and W595_R3DA026_MAIN_GENERIC_LD_RED52.mbn
but I can't seem to find a custom pack for my w595 in the custom packs folder :confused:

You can also use custpack for K850 for yours FS_WESTERN_EUROPE
