Ok,
i got a k800i locked to 3-UK
i paid for an unlock code and i got sent one
#pw+732 050 156 010 675+7#

WHERE DO I PUT THE CODE
the only instructions that got sent were the left**left but i cant put any letters in because the input only accepts numbers :(
please help,
if someone paid and got sent an email WITH instructions please copy paste etc.

code in unique so useless for others. it is based on imei
where did you bought the code from? i think you are victim of a fraud because that code seems to be a nokia unlock code, not a sony ericsson one, wich is usuali just a numer with 8 figures someting like "11223456"

well my Z710 lock code was 16 digits. So maybe it's those 16 digits. You have as little as 5 chances of inputting the number. So use the opportunities wisely.

Beep, where did you get your code from and how much is it? ill try there....
I got my code from HERE and ive emailed them and im waiting for a response.
Is there a program where i put in my IEME and it spits out codes? Theres one for Nokias...

edit: I called 3 customer service (my network) and they said it would be £15 (from debit/credit card -not calling credit:( ) if i cant find anywhere else ill use them, there the safest option.

I paid 40USD for the code from an online shop, but that only unlocked one of 2 codes on my phone (unique problem with Z710 locked to Fido). So essentially I paid 40USD and I still have a locked phone.

Why don't you ask wirelessunlocks re. the code having alphbets and see what they say?

I have a k800i locked by 3 uk, given to me by a work mate, can anyone please advise how I can unlock it so that I can use my orange payg sim card on it. ps I am a total neebie so a point by point tutorial would be great thanks

if you want a full unlock all you have to do is contact your service provider and theyll provide you with the code. There may be a fee. alternatively you can use the sim lock patch generator which I am told works very well! altho if you reflash your phone or update with SEUS youll have to repatch it

and SE unlock codes are more than 8 digits. to input them you need to hit < * * < from standby with the keypad unlocked. For orange uk you have to do that by removing the sim card and doing it from the screen that says insert SIM. For some reason its disabled when the phone is running. Just saying this in < * * < doesnt work.
