It's "stored" in the GDFS area.

Well then normally it should be possible to just change the GDFS with GDFSEdit and have no lock ???

No, because it is guarded by some sort of checksum, and if you modify the SIM-lock, then your phone will not work.Well then normally it should be possible to just change the GDFS with GDFSEdit and have no lock ???
