My brother Debranded my w580i Successfully but then my he was trying to fix something but now my phone doesn't want to work when ever i try to turn it on it show a red light please can someone help me i really need my phone it my life please and thank

Blinking red led in the infra red port. If is that, then look one post above.
If is not this, then tried it to flash again.

for my own experience...... i have two pieces which experenced such situation
just like k610, but cannot be done via EROM upgrade

the first pieces i use a hot airgun to blow the board until cannot read IMEI
replace with another one and get it to sony ericsson

i hope the 2nd pieces need not to do so
it only get trouble in import and self-change languages w580i
for those which have a gurantee by sony ericsson does not get such errors

i have discoverd the problem 3 months ago and cannot get anyway to fix it
hope will have a free EROM update soon

Please try to connect it to SE Tool lite and post your log.
If connecting with "c" doesn't work try "2+5". And do try a service cable if you have one.

It's most likely a dead flash chip.

click on Unlock\Repair in SeTool 2 lite 1.11 !!
Reinsert battery
then connect phone holding 2+5 .. ! just leave it !!
it will get back alive in 40 seconds ..!!

1)Recovery mod not support for this cid.
2)you click buttons then click cancel.why?
3)its good you have backup gdfs.
4)for solve problem flash phone agian if you want just add main (same by fs ver)
5)if you add "use quick access patch" before flash phone by main frist remove this patch.
5)When you remove patch(up) dont forget mark "bypass DB2020 security".
6)Now add main and click flash.
7)Dont add fs because if add it you must custome pack
Dont forget choose phone model.
8)your phone trun on.
