K700i Flash

I 'v got an old K700i which still works perfectly. I am trying to upgrade the firmware, but no success so far. The phone is SIMlock free. Phone is connected to my PC by Dss-25. Drivers and connection are working fine. SE Update Service has nothing new to offer. Also got SEtool2lite ver. 1.11. The firmware I would like in the phone is CID36 CDA1022298/42 "Generic Netherlands" the version is R2CA001 which appears to be the latest for K700i. I have problems finding the firmware and am not sure is I can get it into the phone with my setup.

Thanks. I had no problem downloading the first two files, however I couldn't find the third one. Still have a problem getting a program to flash my phone. Setool2lite recognises the phone, but will do nothing else. I also tried SEMCTool 8.4 free and 3.3 cracked both from the download section. From what I see both are for phones with CID 49 or up and will not word with lower CID's. Any suggestions??

As far as I can see SEMCtool 2.2 can do what it is supposed to do. However it will not flash the phone. Maybe because phone is CID29. Is it possible to override this CID so I can get to CID 36??

I keep getting ERROR 301224 while trying to flash my K700i using Semctool 2.2. Don't know what else to try.

best tool is the old setool full cracked
u can find it here: setool_unlock

tutorial about flashing with the old setool u can find in the tutorial area

but if you flash the same version as in your phone, you will se no difference

Onlyone, your suggestion to use setool_unlock works perfectly. The Program does recognize my DSS-25, reads the phone etc. At the moment I am flashing the phone with the files i've got. Will see if the flash is OK, but anyway the program you suggested does the trick with my setup, K700i and DSS-25. Out of all programs tried this was the only successful one. Thanks. Maybe you could point me to a place where I can find some additional info. The area I am still guessing about is the various firmware/software elements in a phone. So far I understand that there is a basic program installed: Firmware Main. In addititon to that there is a filesystem, firmware FS. Then there appears to be 1) a loader and 2) customized items like menus etc. To me it's not clear how things fit together. Is there some explanation somewhere?

OK. Technically things are working now. Flashing the K700i did go OK, but ended up with "configuration error" and a practically dead phone. I still do not understand completely what I should do. My phone has a loader? with CID26. What i would like to do is upgrade the whole thing to CID 39. I do have the relevant MAIN file (K700_R2CA001_MAIN_EU_3_C_RED36.mbn) and the filesystem file (K700_R2CA001_FS_EU_3_RED36.fbn). No problem flashing the phone with these files, BUT: Apparently, I'am missing some elements, don't know which.
