    Changing status bar icons (k800i)

    Hi. I know you kan change menu icons by uploading them, but where do i find the Status bar icons (bluetooth, message, batteryicon and so on..)... i guess, that as long as i retain same size and position, it should be enough just to upload (my) alternative icons....

    So.. i need to know...

    * What is the location
    * Name of icons
    * Number of icons (battery status has 4-5 icons)

    Please advice

    For DB2020 you can use ImageTool. I attached it for you. Then, open the MAIN of your phone (ex: k800.mbn) and search for the icons that you want. Then you can replace them, delete some other icons that you don't need to make space for bigger ones...etc. After you finished the work just save it as a .vkp patch. You can apply it with SeTool 1.11 or Far Manager plugin JDFlasher.
    Good Luck

    Thanks a lot, Will try at once :-)

    (part) of my question still remains though..... is'nt it possible to just upload alterantive images? As long as names, sizes and positions are unchanged, overwriting the originals should be enough? If so... what about names and sizes...

    ...or, are you saying that these images are all part of one file, and that i have to make a patch for this single file including my altered images?

    You have to make a patch that will replace those images. What you are saying about uploading them into a folder on your phone it can be done only by a Sysgfx patch, that allows the phone to use other images instead of the original ones. Sysgfx is only available on DB2010 phones (ex:W800,K750 etc). For now, on DB2020 we can use that tool that makes the patch. These images are part of one file, and you have to make a patch for that single file, including your altered image.
    To extract files from you phone you have to use JDFlasher. It's a plugin for Far Manager. It's like SEFP only better. It can be found around here, somewhere...
