W810i unlocking made easy!!!

Thanks topsony forum and also Dave on uk-mkivs.net to make unlocking easy.... Iam not using any of these for commercial use but for my own mobile, I tried yesterday and finally could unlock after trying various cominations.

I found the following as the best approach for this model :

Download Phone XS++ from XS++ v3.1 (darwin) - SE-NSE Forums

Download SETool Lite from SETool2 Lite - SE-NSE Forums

Download the firmware:

and the custom file:
W810_CDA102494_4_Generic_UK.zip

Download the patches http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/5/...%20Patches.zip

turn your phone off, remove the battery. plug the usb lead into the computer but not into the phone yet, then put the battery into the phone, press and hold down the C button and insert the USB lead into the phone and release the C button after a few seconds. Windows should detect a USB flash device, use the USB Flash Drivers downloaded. Then install SEtools lite and click indentify.

run SE Tools lite. Select W810i as the phone type, click the identify button.

you should get something like this:



make sure the CID is 49. Click the "Read GDFS" button, this will backup your GDFS (very important!). Exit SE2toolslite

Extract the W810_CDA102494_4_Generic_UK.zip to [Phone XS++ directory] \own_custpack

If you want to enable flash menus like this one Like this one

add the following lines of text to the end of the mmi section of [Phone XS++ Directory]\own_custpack\tpa\preset\custom\customize.xml:

run PhoneXS++



Select Flash in the confirguration frame at bottom, check the "Flash Main Firmware", "Flash File System" and "Customize File System" checkboxes.

Select W810_R4EA031_MAIN_GENERIC_HN_RED49.mbn as the main, W810_R4EA031_FS_EUROPE_2_RED49.fbn as the file system. Select Own custpack in as the phone model. Now click the flash button.

When that is done, run SE2Tools lite. Change the phone type to W810i, click identify to make sure it's all ok. Then click on the ... button after Misc files and select Remove_SIM_lock_R4EA031.VKP that is the patches archive you downloaded. Click Write Script, It should give you a pop up dialog, No will apply the patch, yes will remove it. You want no. Your phone should now be unlocked and debranded.
