To have italian on your phone and other european languages, IMO flashing is the best way.
So firstly you will need a program to flash the phone, XS++ is most recomended, Here tutorial:

Next look at the language package you want:
Top Sony - Languages Description
which I guess is EUROPE_5

Next you need to download the firmwire:
Downloads - K770 - Top Sony Forums
You will need the MAIN, FS and also need the custom pack, from here:

Thanks for the help, but as I am totally ignorant about all this when I tried to follow your links I got to the pages where there is a plethora of directories and files.
For example following the first link "Downloads - K770 - Top Sony Forums" there are many folders. Which one should I choose? Anyone is fine, such as R8AA018_RED52?
In there I do see the file "K770_R8AA018_FS_EUROPE_5_RED52" which is the one I assume I need.
The same is following the second link. I assume I will need the zipped file
"HB1-06_Gen_CDA102568_14_R8A_GENERIC_EUROPE_5".
However, and this I guarantee is the last question, which one is the firmware?
I ask this because following the first link the files I see have the _FS_ word in it and I assume that this is the FS file that you referred in the second link "You will need the MAIN, FS and also need the custom pack, from here:"
If it is so where do I find the Firmware?
I apologize again for the stupid questions. They are stupid to someone like you but they are not to a neofite like me.
