W850i 6x Blinks from power button... how to fix?

Just recently been using my W850i after my K800 got wet and died. This morning, I tried turning my phone on and realised the power button lit up for about 2 seconds - no power up. I pushed it again, then it blinked 6 times and my phone wouldn't turn on.
I did all the usual removing battery, trying to charge, and still nothing.

So, I flashed the same firmware back to my phone (R1GB001 I believe) and I still can't turn it on. I tried flashing the EROM, then the firmware, but no power still.

Strange thing is, XS++ detects it, flashes with no errors, and I can use the FSX, but I cannot power my phone. Surely this isn't a software problem, as I do not see anything strange with the CID, etc... I have flashed many phones before...

Has anyone come across this before? If so, how do I fix? I have tried restoring GDFS, re-writing EROM & firmware and still no result...

No, my phone's outta warranty. I've heard it's fixable, seems strange how it just stopped working like that...

VERY STRANGE...

I flashed my phone like 3 times now with the R1KG001, and XS++ still reports as having R1GB001 firmware still on the phone... eh?

I've also tried with SekingServer, and got the same result, just trying with Setool lite now.

What the hell is going on?

That's your problem, I would imagine. It should show a valid version number, something like R3A022

Dont give wrong information Beep88 the EROM line in XS++ is always n/a doesent matter which phone you connect so that isnt your problem. Your EROM is wrecked or you got some Hardware problem.

in db2020 xs++ can read the erom version on db2010 phones xs++ can't read the erom

Humidity can cause a general collapse... i suggest you not to do any operation before the phone become completely dry. It is also a good idea to take apart the phone !skill needed! and clean the mainboard with C L E A N (pure) alchool.

P.S: Don't use alchool type below 95 grade! you'll cause bigger problems....
