    The SEUS installed the wrong firmware on my phone....i had to take it to the service center...

    where can download a firmware for p990i? i dont like the download section beacuse i have to wait for 2 months

    Does SEUS update all the phones to CID 53 or just few of them? Mine is T650.

    yes you can do that using this command
    >*<<*<*
    start using this command from left > then the star *
    the sign > mains pressing the right button of the joystick

    This should be made sticky so ppl can read this and not screw up their phones like I did :) . I not only have CID 53 on my K810 now, but also wrong firmware, phone isn't working properly and I can do nothing about it :) . Feels like some kind of a disease and I'm infected with it :rolleyes: . I am CID 53 positive.

    They have couple of firmwares for P990 at .:Top SE:. . They require registration, but once you've registered you can start downloading, no need to wait or anything.

    i used SEUS yesterday, it said no update available and my CID is still 52

    depends on your phone and IMEI. let's say you have a W580 (which can be upgraded to CID53) and your IMEI is not on the list, then your CID won't be updated.

    my sons k800i updated to 53 and locked, he contacted orange his provider said he wanted to use it overseas, paid 19.99 UK and got the unlock code, although they said it could take 3 wks (they needed imei) it took 4 days, and a full unlock code was received
